Vintage tag...

Hi everyone!
Today I come to you with another tag...
this time, it's full of Prima/Finnabair products, amongst some others ;)

As a base, I used a page from the Prima watercolour pad,
which I stamped and embossed (Carabelle Studio Stamp, Wow! Embossing Powder)
and a page from the Prima Paintables Watercolour Paper Pad Salvage District.
I coloured and aged both pages using Tim Holtz Distress Reinkers,
Distress Spray Stains and Distress Inks.

I absolutely love combination of vintage brown and turquoise,
however I wanted an extra kick and fuchsia was ideal for that.
In my stash I had some gorgeous Prima flowers which I bought long long time ago -
and I chose them as the focal point of my tag.

All who know me and my work, know very well that I like layers and dimension.
The flowers weren't enough for me so I had to add some metal embellishment,
clay vintage decor (made from one of Prima's Silicone Moulds) and sisal to complement them better.

I knew that I would like to add some gems here and there,
but I didn't have any in the colour I wanted, so I had to make some
using Finnabair Pebbles, glitter and 3D gel.

As I was in a romantic mood while making my tag, I decided to add
two wooden hearts from Prima's Salvage District collection.

I finished my design with Finnabair Art Stones and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers.

I have to admit that I really enjoyed making this project and like the final result.
Hope you like it as well :)

Thank you so much for your time!
Have a great day, M. xxx

Romantic / shabby chic tag

Good morning everyone!
Today I am coming to you with another tag but this time in romantic/shabby chic style.

As you can see it is a very easy and quick tag to make.
The most time consuming part for me was stitching, as I did it by hand.
I am the proud owner of sewing machine, but can't get my stitches straight lol

I cut my tags and frame using Sizzix/Tim Holtz die.
Before I stitched the edges of one of the tags, I stamped it with an elegant script background stamp.

I then made my foamiran leaves and flowers. They didn't take much time,
because I didn't have to roll the foamiran to shape them.
I just had to add a little bit of colour to some of my leaves using an soft oil pastel.

Before attaching them, I put a piece of muslin cloth underneath.
To decorate my tag I used art stones, sparkly gems and metal embellishment
that I covered with white gesso and cut in half.

I finished it with a word sticker.

Have a great day, M. xxx
